About Bob
Bob Dickinson is a writer and critic. After moving to Manchester in 1977, Bob Dickinson wrote for alternative magazines New Manchester Review, City Fun, and City Life, while freelancing for the NME and other music papers. He worked at the North West Film Archive. and at Granada TV, BBC TV, BBC Radios 1, 2, and 4, as a producer. Bob was awarded an MPhil at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1996 and a PhD in 2020 at Manchester School of Art. He writes regularly about contemporary art.
